About this directory

What this directory is

This directory helps participants and families look up NDIS plan management provider listings across Australia. It is based on public provider information and may include provider name, suburb, state, ABN, website or phone where available.

A listing does not mean DisabilityChoice recommends that provider. If you want help choosing, our free matching service connects you with a suitable registered plan manager from our provider network — they contact you directly, usually within 24 hours.

What to check

What to check before choosing a plan manager

A listing in the directory tells you a provider exists. It does not tell you whether they are the right fit. These five factors matter most when evaluating a plan manager.

Payment speed

How quickly are your providers paid? The NDIS Price Guide allows up to 5 business days. The best plan managers pay in 2–3. Slow payment affects your support workers — which affects your services.

Portal and budget visibility

Can you see your remaining funding clearly at any time? Real-time visibility into every invoice and payment prevents budget surprises at plan review time.

Support responsiveness

How easy is it to get help when something goes wrong? A consistent contact person who knows your plan is better than a general call centre queue.

State coverage

Most plan managers operate nationally — plan management is a digital financial service, not a local office visit. A plan manager registered in NSW can manage a participant in WA just as effectively. Confirm coverage before signing.

Service fit

Does the plan manager suit your communication style, plan complexity and provider mix? The right fit matters more than choosing the biggest name in the register.

FAQ

Directory questions, plainly answered.

Have a question not covered here? Get in touch.

Are all providers in the directory recommended by DisabilityChoice?

No. The directory is a public lookup tool based on provider data sourced from the NDIS provider register. A listing means the provider appears in that data — it is not a recommendation, endorsement, or quality assessment. For a matched recommendation, use the free matching service.

Where does the provider information come from?

Provider records are sourced from public NDIS provider data, last updated June 2026. This includes provider name, state, ABN, and where available, suburb, phone and website. DisabilityChoice does not independently verify or update individual provider details beyond the source data.

Why are some providers missing phone or website details?

The source data does not include contact details for every provider. Some providers have registered with the NDIS Commission but have not published a phone number or website in the public register. If details are missing, contact the NDIA on 1800 800 110 or search the NDIS provider finder at ndis.gov.au.

Do I need a local NDIS plan manager?

No. Plan management is a digital financial service — your plan manager pays invoices, tracks your budget, and communicates with you online or by phone. A plan manager registered in any state can manage a participant anywhere in Australia. Location is a preference, not a requirement.

What is the difference between the directory and DisabilityChoice matching?

The directory is a lookup tool — it tells you who exists in the public provider data. DisabilityChoice matching is a free service that assesses your situation and connects you with a registered plan manager suited to your plan, location and needs. The matching service involves a short form; the directory does not.

How do I correct a listing?

Listing data is sourced from the NDIS provider register. To update your organisation's registered details, contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission directly. For other enquiries about this directory, contact DisabilityChoice.
