What happens after I fill in the form?
We review your answers and match you with the plan manager best suited to your situation — based on your state, plan type, and priorities. The matched plan manager will contact you directly, usually within 24 hours on business days. You are under no obligation to proceed. If you decide the match is not right for you, you can simply say no.
Who sees my information?
Your details go to one matched plan manager only — nobody else. We do not share your information with multiple providers, distribute it to a list, or use it for any purpose other than making your match. The plan manager who contacts you will have seen your form responses so they can prepare a relevant conversation, not a generic sales pitch.
Is this free for me as a participant?
Yes — completely free for NDIS participants. Plan managers pay us a referral fee when a participant's inquiry is matched and sent to them. You pay nothing, and your NDIS plan is never charged. The plan management service itself is also free — the NDIA funds it at approximately $104.45 per month from a separate Improved Life Choices budget that does not reduce your therapy, support worker, or equipment funding.
I already have a plan manager — can I still use this?
Yes. If you are not happy with your current plan manager — slow payments, poor portal, unresponsive support — this is a straightforward way to find a better match. You can switch at any time with no cost and no impact on your NDIS funding. Once you have a new service agreement in place, your new plan manager handles the transition. What if plan management is not in my current NDIS plan?
You can request it at any time through a mid-plan variation — you do not need to wait for your annual review. Call the NDIA on 1800 800 110 and ask for Improved Life Choices funding to be added. Do I have to commit to anything by filling in the form?
No. Submitting the form does not create any obligation. The plan manager will call you to introduce themselves and discuss whether they are a good fit. You decide from that conversation whether to sign a service agreement with them. There is no lock-in, no fee, and no pressure — if you do not want to proceed, simply let them know.
