About DisabilityChoice.com.au

We are an independent comparison platform for NDIS plan management. We are not a plan manager, not a registered NDIS provider, and not affiliated with the NDIA or any government body. Our job is to help you make a confident, informed choice.

What DisabilityChoice.com.au Is

DisabilityChoice.com.au exists because choosing an NDIS plan manager matters — and the options can be difficult to compare without a trusted, independent source of information.

We are an independently operated comparison website. We research, rate, and compare NDIS plan management providers so that participants, families, and carers can find the right match for their situation without having to rely on provider-produced marketing material alone. We do not manage NDIS plans ourselves, we do not handle participant funds, and we have no financial relationship with the NDIA or any government agency.

Our editorial team reviews each provider against the same criteria and updates assessments when we become aware of material changes to a provider’s service — including changes to their technology, support team, payment processes, or compliance status.

How We Compare Plan Managers

Every provider in our comparison is assessed against four objective criteria:

  • Payment speed — how quickly the plan manager pays invoices submitted by your NDIS providers. Faster payment matters to providers and reduces friction in your support relationships.
  • Portal and app quality — the capability and usability of the participant-facing tools for tracking budgets, viewing transaction history, and submitting invoices. We assess both the desktop and mobile experience.
  • Support responsiveness — how accessible and knowledgeable the provider’s participant support team is. We consider phone availability, email response times, and the depth of knowledge demonstrated in participant interactions.
  • Geographic coverage — whether the provider offers a genuinely national service, including availability in regional and remote areas where access to support coordination is often more limited.

Scores on these criteria are never for sale. A provider cannot pay to improve their score, alter their ranking, or be included in our comparison if they do not meet our baseline requirements. Our assessments are our own.

Our Referral Model

DisabilityChoice.com.au earns a referral fee when a participant submits an inquiry and is matched with a provider in our comparison panel. That fee is paid from the provider’s marketing budget — it is not funded from your NDIS plan, and it does not reduce the support funding available to you in any way. Editorial rankings are based solely on our objective scoring criteria and are not influenced by our commercial relationships. For full details of how this works, see our commercial disclosure page.
