Independent NDIS plan manager matching.
We exist because the right plan manager genuinely changes how smoothly your NDIS plan works in practice — and most participants have no objective way to tell them apart. We are free for participants. Providers pay a referral fee only when you choose to connect.
Built to close a real information gap.
Plan management is funded by the NDIA — participants do not pay a cent for it. That is a good thing. But it means most participants have little reason to compare providers closely, and most resources online do not make it easy to do so objectively anyway.
The problem is that plan managers vary enormously — in how fast they pay providers, how their portals work, how they handle unregistered providers, and how responsive they are when something goes wrong. Those differences have real consequences for how well your supports work in practice.
DisabilityChoice exists to make that matching less random. Independent research. Honest comparisons. No provider pays to rank higher. We say so when we do not know the answer.
Find my matchEvery plan manager in our comparison is assessed across these areas — not just the ones that make for good marketing.
- Payment speed
- Portal and app quality
- Customer support
- Disability type experience
- Geographic coverage
- Compliance record
What we believe
Four commitments that shape every decision we make.
Independent by design
Providers pay a flat referral fee only when a match is made. That fee does not buy a better ranking. No provider can pay to appear higher in our comparisons.
Plain English
NDIS language is complicated enough. We write for clarity first. If it takes three reads to understand, we rewrite it.
Accessible by default
Built to WCAG 2.2 AA standards. Screen-reader tested. Accessibility toolbar built in. Inclusive design is the baseline, not an add-on.
We say so when we do not know
If something is uncertain, contested, or outside our confidence, we say that rather than paper over it. Honest limitations are more useful than confident guesses.
Providers pay a referral fee. Participants pay nothing.
We are not a provider. We do not take NDIS funding. When a participant connects with a plan manager through DisabilityChoice, the plan manager pays a flat referral fee. That fee is the same regardless of ranking — it does not buy a better position in our comparisons.
If you do not connect with a provider, no money changes hands. That is the whole model.
Read the full disclosure Our scoring methodology →Early. Focused. Building the right way.
DisabilityChoice is independently built and currently focused on getting the fundamentals right — accurate information, honest comparisons, and a matching process that puts participant needs first.
We would rather grow slowly on a foundation of trust than quickly on claims we cannot back up. Every provider listing and guide is reviewed before it goes live. We turn down providers that do not meet our standards. We update content when NDIS rules change.
Get in touchWe hold ourselves to the same standard we apply to providers.
- No pay-to-rankReferral fees are flat. They do not move a provider up or down in our comparisons.
- Updated when rules changeNDIS pricing and policy changes regularly. We review guides when the price guide updates.
- Providers must meet criteriaWe do not list every provider that asks. If a provider does not meet our baseline standards, they do not appear.
